Distance Learning

Media Services provides the latest Distance Learning (DL) technology connecting University of Connecticut instructors to mulitiple campuses. Our Tandberg system DL classrooms connect via IP or ISDN opening a portal to the world for teleconferences, workshops, meetings and interviews. We have two DL classrooms in the Center for Undergraduate Education (CUE) building that feature the same instructional technology as our Hi-Tech Classrooms:

• CUE 320 seats 40 in a tiered classroom arrangement
• CUE 321 seats 24 at tables with 8 extra chairs in a traditional classroom arrangement

One large DL lecture classroom in the Information Technology Engineering (ITE) building:

• ITE C80 seats 350 in a tiered classroom arrangement
